Is it mandatory to set a date column as default in order to set that column as the financial year?
Hello @archanask, it is necessary to establish a default date in a dataset for Athena to handle queries with a dynamic time frame such as “Revenue for this year.” To have Athena resolve dynamic queries using the financial year, you must specify it in the SME screen. For example, if you set the financial year with an April threshold month for a date column, asking a query like “Revenue for this year” will result in resolving the year from April to March instead of January to December.
