Is it fine to create a new connector while creating a dataset instead of creating the data connector seperately?

Hello @abhiram.venkat, instead of going to the connector screen to create a new connector, you can create it directly in the dataset edit/creation step. Simply click on the “Create New Connector” button in the connectors step of the dataset loading process, and a side drawer menu similar to the connector screen will appear. Follow the usual steps for creating a connector, and once it’s saved, you’ll be able to see it in the list of connectors. However, it will be in the “Created” state until it becomes “Active”. You’ll receive a pop-up notification when it’s active, and then you can use the new connector in the next step.
